Wheelock College to launch Center for Assessment and Screening Excellence (CASE)

November 18, 2011 By

Connected Beginnings is pleased to be a collaborator, with Wheelock College colleagues and Wheelock’s ASPIRE Institute, in the development of its new Center for Assessment and Screening Excellence (CASE). The center is funded by The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). It will provide training and technical assistance in early childhood assessment, screening and program measurement to early childhood and out-of-school time professionals. It will also serve in an assessment policy advisory capacity to the state. Connected Beginnings is involved in both the development of course content, including the creation of on-line and live courses in developmental and social-emotional screening and assessment, and in providing support for CASE data management and evaluation activities.

Wheelock/ASPIRE Institute is currently looking for (4) full-time post-Master’s degree graduate fellows to play a key role in advancing CASE performance objectives. Wheelock/ASPIRE Institute is also seeking a full-time Center Manager for this project. This position can also be applied for via Wheelock’s Human Resource webpage.

For more information about CASE, please email [email protected].
