New Brazelton Book to be Released in August

August 16, 2010 By

Nurturing Children and Families: Building on the Legacy of T. Berry Brazelton, edited by Joshua Sparrow and Barry Lester, will be released in August, 2010. This new book, celebrating the work and influence of Berry Brazelton, contains chapters by several Connected Beginnings colleagues. In addition to Josh Sparrow (a member of Connected Beginnings’ Advisory Council), the book includes a chapter by Libby Zimmerman, Connected Beginnings’ founder, completed shortly before her death in August of 2009. Another chapter is co-authored by Francine Jacobs, Mallary I. Swartz (Connected Beginnings’ Director of Evaluation and Research), Jessica Dym Bartlett (a former Connected Beginnings’ Fellow), and Ann Easterbrooks (also a member of Connected Beginnings’ Advisory Council). This compendium is both a tribute to the far-reaching impact of Dr. Brazelton’s work and the influence it has had on the work of Connected Beginnings’ staff, our associates and countless others who care for and about infants and young children.
