Wheelock College Birth to Three Master’s Program Launch

March 10, 2017 By C Wakely

Connected Beginnings is pleased to announce the return of Wheelock College’s graduate degree program in Birth to Three: Infant, Toddler & Family Specialist.

This newly revised master’s program—which includes updated courses—is designed for professionals interested in the in-depth study of infant and toddler behavior and development, learning environments, and curriculum development for infant, toddler, and family-supported programs in a variety of settings.

Graduates in this 30-credit graduate program will be prepared for positions as infant and toddler specialists, administrators of child care centers, public policy advocates, and leaders in early intervention and Early Head Start.

Students will have opportunities for practica in settings that can lead to certification in teaching (Teacher, Lead Teacher) and administration (Director I) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and/or the Department of Public Health.
