Using the Pyramid Model in the Preschool Classroom

April 1, 2015 By

This 6-hour, .5 CEU training is focused on translating the CSEFEL Pyramid Model to real-life early childhood classroom practices. Designed to expand on themes from the Foundations of the CSEFEL Pyramid Model course, this training focuses on the classroom environment. The promotion of positive behavior and prevention of challenging behavior will be be examined through design of the physical classroom (i.e. classroom set-up, traffic patterns, and materials), as well as the important role of schedules, rules, and routines.

As a prerequisite, all participants must have completed the Foundations of the CSEFEL Pyramid Model course or an equal level of training experience in the Pyramid Model approach.
