Course Title: Leadership in Assessment, Curriculum and Quality Program Enhancement

Course Description: This course is designed for Program Administrators, Education Specialists, and Instructional Leaders in early childhood Settings, including Family Child Care and Early Intervention Programs. This leadership course will be a dynamic and rigorous learning opportunity designed to advance assessment knowledge and practice, and transform administrative and teaching practices. The course will also support program leaders to use assessment data and tools to individualize instruction, and link it to curriculum and documentation. Further, this course will help leaders focus on continuous program enhancement, and the sharing of information about children’s growth and development with families.

Eligibility:

1. Child Growth & Development or Human Growth & Development Birth through Six

2. An Early Childhood Curriculum Course

3. Two other courses in Early Childhood Development

This course is offered by the Center for Assessment and Screening Excellence (CASE) at Wheelock College.
