Notes:

This training teaches about children’s social emotional development and the effects of interactions with teachers and caregivers on children’s learning. Through evaluation-informed instruction in theory, the specific uses of implementation strategies and the use of reflection, participants are introduced to evidence-based Pyramid Model practices that promote social emotional growth, prevent challenging behaviors and provide positive behavioral supports in addressing challenging behaviors in children birth-six years.

The course will meet a total of 6 sessions, to be held on Tuesday evenings. The 15 hour course (12 hours training; 3 hours field assignment) requires full participation for CEUs. 6 hour mentoring component will be scheduled through trainer and participants.  1.5 CEUs will be provided upon successful completion of entire course.
