The Mind in the Making Mentoring Group

January 13, 2010 By

What is the MITM Trainer Mentoring Group? A group for MITM facilitators (whether presently active or not) meeting several times a year in order to obtain support and information from one another and from the group’s facilitators. Group discussions will provide opportunities to share lessons learned from the field, strategies for effective delivery, and program implementation. The Mentoring Group will also be a place in which to discuss future MITM training opportunities.

Who will facilitate the Mentoring Group? The group will be co-facilitated by Lizzie McEnany (providing expertise in the delivery of the MITM curriculum and program implementation) and Mary Watson Avery, (providing coordination of the meetings and support in regards to skill-building for facilitators).

When and Where will the Mentoring Group meet? Our first meeting will be on

Thursday, 1/28/10
9:30-11 a.m.
at Connected Beginnings
89 South Street, Suite 601
Boston, MA 02111

Future meetings may be at different locations depending upon the needs of the group.

What will be the agenda for the first Mentoring Group meeting? We will discuss the needs and expectations of the facilitators, hear from facilitators who have completed MITM training series, and share information about future training opportunities.

Please RSVP or ask questions via email to mwavery(AT)connectedbeginnings.org or via our contact form.
