Social emotional video series from Eastern Connecticut University

Connected Beginnings’ Senior Program Director Mary Watson Avery had the opportunity to collaborate with the Center for Early Childhood Education at Eastern Connecticut University in contributing to their social emotional video series. The latest video in this series is “Building Supportive Environments for Young Children: Setting Rules and Expectations.” Featuring teachers and staff from a variety of settings, the video explores the importance of positive guidance, teaching social skills, and devising rules with young children.
