Infant-Parent Training Institute accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Infant Mental Health Fellowship Certificate Program

April 29, 2011 By

The Infant-Parent Training Institute of Jewish Family & Children’s Service is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Infant Mental Health Fellowship Certificate program. The Fellowship is a part-time, post-graduate program with course work and clinical experience offered over two years. Its fellows and faculty are a diverse group of clinical professionals, representing a range of disciplines, backgrounds, and personal/professional situations. The Fellowship draws on this richness to develop an environment for learning from each other in the context of open dialogue and self-reflection.

Why study with IPTI?

  • Exceptional faculty with expertise in clinical work with very young children and parents
  • Immersion in the latest research from fields of attachment, development, neurobiology, and trauma with emphasis on integration with practice
  • Small classes (no more than twelve) with opportunities for practice-based discussions
  • Reflective mentoring and supervision
  • Opportunities for clinical experience in infant-parent psychotherapy
  • Community of colleagues with common interests and diverse perspectives
  • Infant observation as a core experience

For information about the Fellowship and application process, visit the JF&CS website or contact Judy Semonoff, LICSW at 781-693-1410.
