EPS Region 6 is sponsoring a Foundations of the CSEFEL Pyramid Model Course!

This training focuses on young children’s social emotional development and the effects of interactions with teachers and caregivers on children’s learning. Through instruction in theory, the specific uses of implementation strategies and the use of reflection, participants are introduced to evidence-based Pyramid Model practices that promote social emotional growth, while preventing and addressing challenging behaviors in children birth-six years.
The course will meet a total of 6 sessions. The 15 hour course (12 hours training; 3 hours field assignment) requires full participation for CEUs. 6 hour mentoring component will be scheduled through trainer and participants.  1.5 CEUs will be provided upon successful completion of entire course.

QRIS Standard Alignment: Category 1: Curriculum and Learning
Core Competency Area: 1: Understanding Growth and Development of Children and Youth.

Date: Wednesdays, May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 6 & 11, 2014
Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Location: Crispus Attucks Children’s Center, 105 Crawford St, Dorchester, MA 02121

Course Fee: $35.00
