Courses being offered in Mental Health Issues in Reproductive Medicine and Maternal Mental Health

The Infant-Parent Training Institute (IPTI) is currently accepting applications for two fall courses that will be offered at JF&CS Headquarters in Waltham.

Mental Health Issues in Reproductive Medicine

The NEW four-session Mental Health Issues in Reproductive Medicine course examines the many issues that may arise during infertility treatment and explores the role of the mental health clinician in mediating the effects of these challenges.

When: Tuesdays, October 1, 8, 15, and 22; 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Instructor: Geri Ferber, PsyD

Maternal Mental Health

The eight-session Maternal Mental Health course examines the profound emotional transformation of becoming a mother, the influence of culture on maternal mental health, and the impact of mental health issues on the parent-child relationship.

When: Wednesdays, October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 and November 6, 13, and 20; 9:30 -11:30 a.m.

Instructor: Debbie Whitehill, LICSW
