Betsy Leutz Appointed as Executive Director

April 14, 2010 By

United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley announced the appointment on March 1st, 2010 of Betsy Leutz as Executive Director of Connected Beginnings Training Institute. Betsy has played a key leadership role with Connected Beginnings since 2007, first as Senior Program Director and then as Acting Executive Director.

This appointment highlights Betsy’s dedication and skill in providing leadership continuity during a critical period of transition for Connected Beginnings following the death of its founding Executive Director, Libby Zimmerman. With the backing of a talented staff and committed Advisory Council, Betsy has worked hard to shape the Institute’s strong and vibrant programs and build momentum with cutting-edge training, research and evaluation in the field of infant and early childhood mental health.
