Behavior Through a Sensory Lens: Sponsored by the Boston Institute for the Development of Infants and Parents (BIDIP) and the Freedman Center for Child & Family Development

December 20, 2010 By

Young children with atypical behaviors may have difficulty regulating their own behavior, engaging in play, negotiating their environment, or interacting with others. Some issues may be related to delayed or atypical sensory processing. Attempting to address the behavior without understanding the underlying contributors may lead to frustration for the child, family, and service provider. This workshop will present a foundation for understanding behaviors through a sensory lens with application through a case study approach.
